its worth having all 3 chapters (if you like GW)

All it does is split the community apart, and no matter which forum is more active (both are equally active imo), it doesn't benefit either side much.

But yeah this website and GWonline are basically the 2 main, best, and most active English fansites you'll find.

There are also profession boards in this forum (and the other).

I'm glad you like the game also!

For the record anyhow:
Prophecies = Between Factions and This, this one is probably better. If you play Prophecies first and then Factions, you may not feel like it's as good as Prophecies. It's still a good game nonetheless though!

Nightfall = Coming out on Friday, and all I and mostly everyone else in this community has to say, is that this is turning out to be a GREAT game. I recommend buying this if able

Once again, I'm glad your having fun, be sure to get Nightfall for more fun as well. See you around!

EDIT:

Now that I actually think about it though- linking to GWonline is allowed isn't it? I just thought of that after remembering the Dev Tracker forum
GWG allows linking to external sites. Be it GWO, Guild-hall.net, team-iq.net, GuildWiki, guildwars.com, any and every guild forum/site (as long as you aren't posting a "Join my awesome guild!!!! spam message). The unimpeded flow of information aids our readers in locating the information they need and brings them back to Guru because they know if we don't have it, we can find out where to get it and link them to it. Other fansites/forums may have their own rules regarding linking to other sites.

What gave you this impression ? As far as I'm aware, GWG doesn't share GWonline's ridiculous external link policy. There are links from that website posted by mods in a section of the foum, it is perfectly fine.

i say get prophecies. its easier to start out and good for getting skills. factions is mainly a PvP game so get that when you become a serious player. nightfall is a great game but it will be even greater if you understand the stories of the other two.

I would reccomend getting prophecies for all new GW players. No player should miss out on pre-searing, it's the most beatiful and fun place in the entire game IMO. Everytime I make a new character it's specifically so I can play through pre-searing again, and each time I stay a little longer. In fact, I have never made a character in Cantha, and probably will never make one in Elona. Pre-searing is just that enjoyable for me, and I hope all player get a chance to experience it as well.

Prophecies pve storyline can not be beat, nothing imo comes close as of yet. But, since nightfall just came out and all the towns are booming with noobs and veterans alike, I would go that route. Im not sure if you are familiar with heros but they are like super henches and would be nice to use in any previous chapter like prophecies.
